Sinopsis:
"Frasier" es una serie televisiva de comedia, estrenada en la cadena NBC el 16 de septiembre de 1993. La serie era un spin off de la serie "Cheers", basado en el personaje de Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer).

"Frasier" fue creada y guionada por David Angell, Peter Casey y David Lee, quienes también la produjeron en asociación con Paramount Television.

El argumento gira en torno al psiquiatra Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer), quien regresa a Seattle, su ciudad natal, luego de romper con su anterior vida y matrimonio en Boston (esta etapa de la vida de Frasier, estuvo reflejada en la serie "Cheers").

Sus planes para comenzar una nueva vida como soltero se complican cuando debe aceptar en su casa a su padre, el ex-oficial de policía Martin Crane (John Mahoney), quien está imposibilitado de vivir solo. Se instalan, junto a su padre, su fisioterapista Daphne Moon (Jane Leeves), y su perro Eddie.

Un visitante habitual al apartamento de Frasier, es su hermano menor Niles (David Hyde Pierce), también psiquiatra, quien está inconfesablemente enamorado de Daphne y sólo resolverá esta situación en el episodio final de la séptima temporada.

Frasier tiene un popular programa en la radio local, su productora es Roz Doyle (Peri Gilpin), quien, a pesar de su carácter y temperamento diametralmente opuesto al de Frasier, se convierte en una amiga muy cercana.

Los temas que usa la serie para desarrollar situaciones cómicas son principalmente la búsqueda de Frasier del romance; los conflictos sociales y la pomposidad de Frasier como celebridad menor en la ciudad y su exagerada pedantería.

Luego de once temporadas y 243 episodios, y siendo uno de los spin-off de más éxito en la historia de la televisión, aclamada por el público y la crítica; "Frasier" culminó con su último episodio, emitido el 13 de mayo de 2004; tras haber cosechado incontables premios, entre ellos 37 Emmys y 3 Golden Globes. El episodio final fue visto en los estados Unidos por más de 25 millones de personas.
